These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services and website. By booking a service with DJH Drain Services, you agree to be bound by the following terms.

2. Services

We provide a range of drainage services including, but not limited to:

• Emergency drain unblocking

• CCTV drain surveys

• High-pressure water jetting

• Drain descaling and cleaning

• Drain repairs and maintenance

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

• Commercial and residential drainage services

We reserve the right to modify or withdraw any service at any time.

3. Bookings and Appointments

• Appointments can be made by phone, online, or in writing.

• We aim to arrive within the agreed time window but cannot guarantee exact arrival times due to traffic, emergencies, or weather conditions.

• In the event of a delay, we will notify you as soon as possible.

4. Pricing and Payment

• Payment is due on completion of the work unless a credit agreement is in place.

• We accept cash, bank transfer, and major credit/debit cards.

• For larger or commercial works, a deposit or staged payments may be required.

• Failure to pay on time may result in late payment charges or legal recovery action.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.

• Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee.

• DJH Drain Services reserves the right to cancel appointments in the event of unforeseen circumstances, with full notice given to the customer.

6. Access and Responsibility

• You must ensure safe and clear access to all areas where work is to be carried out.

• If access is obstructed or unsafe, we may not be able to complete the job, and a charge may still apply.

• It is your responsibility to inform us of any hidden or sensitive areas (e.g. underground tanks, electrical wiring, septic systems) that may affect the work and to supply water and electricity where required.

7. Reports and Deliverables

• For services such as CCTV surveys or descaling, a report (with before and after photos where applicable) will be provided via email or printed copy.

• Reports are intended for informational purposes and do not constitute engineering or legal advice unless stated otherwise.

CCTV reports will be sent out once full payment has been made.

8. Guarantees

• We guarantee workmanship for a period of [30/90] days unless otherwise stated, depending on the nature of the work.

• Guarantees do not apply where issues are caused by misuse, third-party damage, or underlying structural problems not visible at the time of service.

• Blockages may reoccur due to system design or user behaviour; we cannot guarantee future performance of the drainage system beyond the scope of the completed work.

It is at the engineers discretion to issue a guarantee & any guarantees given cannot be rolled over if a revisit is required.

9. Liability

• DJH Drain Services is fully insured.

• We will take all reasonable care to avoid damage; however, we are not responsible for pre-existing faults or issues that arise during or after work due to the age or condition of your drainage system.

• We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses.

10. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please contact us directly within 7 days of the work being completed. We will do our best to resolve the issue quickly and fairly.

By using our website, you agree not to misuse it or attempt to gain unauthorised access. Website content is for general information and may be subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and take effect immediately.
